IEEE SYSTEMS, MAN, AND CYBERNETICS XI'AN CHAPTER

IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Xi'an Chapter (SMC Xi'an Chapter) was founded on Mar. 3, 2010. Prof. LI Zhiwu from Xidian University serves as Chair, and Prof. LI Xuelong from Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics serves as Vice-Chair. The SMC Chapter has 44 members including 4 IEEE fellows, namely, LI Zhiwu, LI Xuelong, Ales-sandro Giva, and Witold Pedrycz. The SMCS Chapter has organized or co-organized several international conferences, such as "2016 Workshop Series on Discrete Event Systems (WODES)", "2010 International Confer-ence on Mechatronics and Automation (ICMA)", and "2013 IEEE Region 10 Conference (TENCON)".
The SMC Chapter serve the interests of its members and the community at large by promoting the theory, practice, and interdisciplinary aspects of systems science and engi-neering, human-machine systems, and cybernetics. It is accomplished through conferences and other activities that contribute to the professional needs of its members.
