       IEEE Communication Society Xi'an Chapter (ComSoc Xi'an Chapter) was found on Jun. 18, 2008, approved by IEEE Region 10 Director Janina Mazierska. Prof. LI Jian-dong from Xidian University serves Chapter Chair. Prof LIU Guizhong from Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Prof YANG Kehu from Xidian University, serve as Vice-Chairs responsible for membership development and treasury respectively. The Chapter Inaugu-ration was held on December 15, 2008. The ComSoc Chapter comprises of a diverse group of university scholars and industry professionals with a common interest in advancing all communications technologies.
