IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Society Xi'an Chapter (EMS Xi'an Chapter) was founded on Mar. 21, 2014. Prof. GENG Yingsan from Xi'an Jiaotong University serves as Chair, and Prof. XIE Yanzhao from Xi'an Jiaotong University serves as Vice-chair. The Chap-ter's field of interest includes measurement techniques and test procedures, instrumentation, equipment and systems characteristics, interference control techniques and components, education, computational analysis, and other activities that contribute to this field. Current the EMS Society has 20 members. Several international workshops were organized by the EMS Chapter, and many international experts were invited to come to Xi'an and perform profes-sional activities during the last few years.
