IEEE BROADCAST TECHNOLOGY SOCIETY XI'AN CHAPTER

       IEEE Broadcast Technology Society Xi'an Chapter (BTS Xi'an Chapter) was founded on Aug. 29, 2016. Currently, the BTS Chapter has 12 members. IEEE Xi'an BTS Chapter aims to operate as a platform for the members to work together on the broadcast technology, to network, and to develop future career. Especially, most scholars of the Chapter from Xidian University and Xi'an Jiaotong University are involved in the Key Project of HDTV research and many other projects related to broadcasting technologies. The BTS Xi'an Chapter is active in organiz-ing technical workshops, inviting distinguished lecturers, promoting educational activities, and encouraging young professionals.

       The Chapter will organize "2018 IEEE International Symposium on Broadband Multime-dia Systems and Broadcasting (BMSB)" in Xidian University in 2018. The Chapter also has a close cooperation with the Beijing BTS Chapter for educational activities to enhance the links between BTS members.
